The digital electrical design engineer will report to the group leader System Electronic Architecture. He/she will be working on design projects within the Electronic Generics Design Team, a team focused on design, realization and qualification of common/re-useable electronic building blocks for in FPGA’s. The main responsibilities are:
* specification, design, implementation/realization and qualification of digital design blocks, covering VHDL FPGA IP-cores, related interfaces to external peripheral IC’s and test benches;
* design/user documentation and design-in support;
* maintenance of the digital design blocks (handle problem reports, change requests and initiate improvements);
* technical-coordinating interface to external development partners.

* Bachelor (HBO) or Masters Degree (MSc) in Electrical Engineering
* 5 years or more experience in digital electronics design and (Complex digital IC’s and FPGA designs)
* Excellent knowledge & understanding of digital/FPGA electronics development methods, tooling and processes
* Good interpersonal skills
* Team player
* Excellent motivation and drive to achieve results
* Quality and Process Focus
* Good communication skills and good knowledge of the English language in word and in writing
